Autonomous Transport Solutions is one of the keys in TRATON’s strategy. We work on enabling solutions within the area of Onboard and Offboard systems, managing both autonomous driving of the vehicle and controlling/supervision via the control tower.
The autonomous systems must, however, interact with the base vehicles and their electrical systems across the different TRATON brands.
The VCT (Release train according to SAFE terminology) TEESA & Friends mission is to deliver a safe and secure Automated Ready Base Vehicle ready for integration with different possible ADS systems (robots).
We are currently seeking a curious and driven safety engineer with leadership skills, good knowledge in systems development, and the ability to interact within a large cross-functional arena. In daily work, this role will interact with, coach, and assist base vehicle system/function owners in performing safety-related tasks with their systems/functions.

This is an onsite assignment with the possibility of remote work, e.g., Hybrid.
Education
Engineering degree: Master of Science in Data, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or equivalent education.
Language
English is the main work language, but Swedish is appreciated.
Meriting
- Extensive experience in functional safety work (ISO26262)
- Good knowledge and experience in the development of embedded systems
- Extensive experience with SESAMM systems and their architecture
- Knowledge of release processes and PD-processes
