Scope of work:

  • Manage, perform and ensure the activities related to safety assurance

  • Deliver safe solutions

 

In particular:

§  Coordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the system as per Safety process defined

§  Perform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a Safety perspective

§  Define safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planning

§  Build the Safety Reports and/or the Safety Cases          

§  Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project / system / product        

§  Organize and attend periodic Safety Reviews          

§  Defend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors  

§  Manage (if any) the Safety Assurance Engineers involved on the project / system / product (Internal or external resources)

  • Change Management Instruction

Educational Requirements

  • Advanced University or Engineering degree

  • Swedish operational in reading and writing for technical documentation

Experience Requirements: 

  • Mastering Cenelec Standards and CSM-RA for Safety (or equivalent standards if needed: AREMA, IEEE, etc ) and safety methodology & concepts/principles

  • 10 years successful experience in safety assurance

  • Ability to say “no go” when needed and to support/elaborate plan/solution to deliver

  • Resilient (to pressure, to last minutes deliveries, safety issue management…)

  • Training capability in Safety
