As a Product Quality Manager, you are responsible to assure product quality and compliance to the governing processes within production. Key for success is to manage the balance as a proactive support role, while still maintaining integrity and independence. You need to be comfortable expressing information both verbally and in writing and be able to inspire and guide others to work with the quality aspects in mind.The responsibility of a Product Quality Manager include to lead, support, audit, improve and evaluate the quality of our products, production processes and within our various types of projects.

Your main work assignments: The Product Quality Manager role is a very diverse roll with complex assignment mixed with smaller scope tasks. The role is autonomous while it inquire collaborate with lots of different roles as well as between the different site locations. Lead and/or participate in; Development projects, Production projects, Aftermarket projects, Improvement projects. Work closely together with the production and incoming inspection units as well as our production Support Functions. Also, cooperate with the Design departments, Product Management, Project Management and Purchasing. Lead internal audits to identify areas for improvement and participate during external audits when requested. Carry out investigations, root cause analyses, risk analysis (eg. FMEA) and value stream mapping. Also, conduct training courses in our processes for staff within production and support functions. Lead and/or participate in qualifications of production processes and/or equipment. Authorise First article inspections both in-house and at supplier’s site.

Your Profile You have a high level of integrity, are communicative, analytical, enjoy working with improvements, and process development. You have a good instinct for quality and is comfortable being a quality ambassador. You are driven, well-structured and have a proactive approach when managing quality issues. You have the ability to see the bigger picture but also go in depth in analyses and problem solving. You are curious and have a driving force to learn and develop. You are comfortable challenging and positively influencing the workgroups and colleagues that you work with to ensure quality.

Required skills: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or relevant working experience At least 5 years of working experience, preferably within the quality or improvement area Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, written and verbal

Preferred skills: Work experience from highly regulated industry such as Aviation, Defence and Life Science Experience from internal and/or external audit management Strong analytical skills and experience within methodical problem solving using Root Cause Analysis tools like 8D and 5Why, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Knowledge and practical experience of Quality Management Systems and standards such as ISO 9001, EN9100, AQAP, ISO14001, or similar from other industries such as ISO 13485, GMP or ISO 26262 Knowledge within statistical evaluation. Product development awareness in areas of electronics, mechanics, software and systems.
